Coatlicue's Necklace

Pin It Fancy

Inspired by Coatlicue, an Aztec creator and destroyer goddess of the earth. She is the goddess of life and death, her head is made of two viper heads, and her skirt is made of woven snakes. The name Coatlicue translates to "serpent skirt." Coatlicue's style was my main inspiration when creating this design, so I "borrowed" her jewelry, and created a modern afterlife necklace. ~Artwork by Gera Lozano
